It is our opinion that all these hunts have a high level of service throughout the ride in, ride out, packing of equipment and packing out of your game.

The three Marvine Drainages, East, West and Main have camp locations ranging from 4 to 8 miles in from the trailhead ranging in elevations from 9,000 to 12,000 feet.  All camps are in the Flat Top Wilderness, GMU 24 and definitely in the middle of Elk country.  If the Elk are talking -you will hear them in the Aspen groves, meadows and timber fingers surrounding your camp.  Camps are at altitude, making you thank that horse that took care of that climb, letting you hunt from camp a quarter mile out or several miles… your choice!

Our 14 drop camp locations are scattered along the three drainages and upper reaches of the Flat Tops and are all situated several miles from any other outfitters camp.  Camps have a spacey wall tent complete with a wood stove, camp water and firewood on site and nearby. All camp equipment will be available for cooking and sleeping; you only need your clothes, sleeping bag, personal gear and food.  We encourage you to bring what you want for a comfortable camp, within reason.

Communication is limited in the back country and we strongly recommend that you rent or buy a satellite phone or texting device to contact us and keep in touch with your loved ones. Especially needed when you bag that elk! Your camp will be checked on during your hunt.  Each hunt is for a minimum of five hunting days plus travel days adding up to a minimum of 7 days. The pricing includes the ride/pack in and out, use of camp and pack out of trail ready game.

We feel most of this country can be hunted effectively from our drop camps, especially with a couple of years of area experience and summer scout trips.

Adams Lodge Outfitters can work with you on a Fully Guided Hunt, as we have a very limited number of guides we are comfortable with doing you an excellent job.  These guides will work with you out of your drop camp, fees and availability are set on an individual basis.

The opportunity for Mule Deer Hunting is very limited but improving; we do not encourage buying a deer tag, however you can purchase a Bear tag with good opportunities to go along with your Elk tag.  GMU 24 is also an area with a limited Moose draw.  Adams Lodge welcomes the opportunity to help you with your Moose hunt.  As an Elk hunter be careful not to mistake a Moose for an Elk.

As in every hunt—we cannot guarantee you bagging an animal, but we can and will do our very best to provide you with an excellent ride in, great camp and the knowledge elk are close to your camp. Our knowledge of the area will be gladly shared  as to where the game may be, how to get there, and all the encouragement needed.  Our hunters return again and again to become part of the Adams Lodge Outfitter Family.
