Avid outdoor adventurers interested in hunting and fishing as well as Nature Lovers and Hikers enjoy our camps, horses and warm western hospitality. Adams Lodge Outfitters operates June through November in all three Marvine drainages, Game Management Unit (GMU) 24, lying east of Meeker in Northwest Colorado.

Adventure Adams Lodge style starts with horses and mules carrying you and your equipment into the Wilderness. We proudly furnish and maintain high quality wall tents complete with all the equipment necessary for your stay. Included are a wood stove, propane cook top, water, firewood, cots, pads, and the basic kitchen equipment for an enjoyable stay. You only need your sleeping bag, personal equipment, personal adventure gear, food and beverages (mother nature provides water).

Our horses and mules are well loved, well taken care of and all part of the Clatterbaugh family. All tack is in good repair, saddles, and horses are chosen for the individual person. Bruce welcomes the opportunity to introduce youth to the outdoor experience, and as such must be accompanied by parent or guardian, older than 5 and able to ride on their own. These adventures are that—an adventure at altitude, involving physical activity, horses and mules. Your physical condition needs to meet the expectations of your adventure.

Summer trips include a deluxe fish camp set up on Upper Marvine Lake or smaller camps with limited fishing in East and West Marvine Drainages. These pack in summer fishing trips allow you to explore the rim underneath the Flat tops, fish the Lakes or creeks all the while enjoying a deluxe wall tent camp.

For those who just choose to explore–the possibilities are endless.

Our horses and mules will pack you safely into and around the Flat Tops Wilderness. You will see the grand vistas and views of this pristine area, fish high altitude lakes, watch wildlife and just relax. Allow us to tailor a summer trip for your group, whether it be a pack trip, full service camp, drop camp or just an equipment drop.

Want to Hike in style? Choose our equipment drop and your wrangler will haul your equipment, tent, cooler, food, personal equipment to the top of the rim.

Feeling the need for an ultimate hike? Book that wrangler to host you, traveling with a pack string to set your camp, prepare your meals and offer support as needed. What a way to end the day hiking… relaxing and having your home cooked meal ready .

Late summer and fall brings a close to the summer trips as we gear up for Colorado Hunting at its Finest. Adams Lodge Outfitters has been serving hunters in Archery , Muzzleloader and through the first three rifle seasons in all three Marvine Drainages as well as some early camps on the top rim. (GMU 24).

We will tailor your hunting experience and expectations with our drop camps and their different terrain locations to meet your needs. Additionally, as time allows, we offer equipment drops and game pack out for the more individual hunters.

Adams Lodge camps are all at least a one hour horseback ride in from the trail head and at elevations in excess of 9,000 ft.; giving you immediate access to the White River Elk Herd…largest herd in the lower 48 states!
