Marvine Fish Camp

Start at the Main Marvine Trail Head, mount your horse and enjoy the 2 ½ hour ride as we follow Marvine Creek 7 miles into our Upper Marvine Wilderness Camp.

This deluxe fishing camp offers its own large wall tent for cooking complete with an oversized picnic table to gather around, multiple wall tents for sleeping and all the camp luxuries you can pack in by horseback.

Fish the Flat Tops Wilderness with us!

Propane cooktop, oven, bbq grill…its all here!  Cots with pads, camp chairs, even a washer game..just waiting for you.  Most of our guests prefer this as a drop camp; we drop them for their length of stay and return to bring them back into civilization at the end. You bring your own food, special drinks, sleeping bag, and personal equipment for fishing, wildlife viewing or hiking.  You will have exclusive use of the camp during your stay, complete with access to our flat bottom rowboat and 2 float tubes.  For the ultimate trip, a full service camp with camp host to provide your meals and help as needed is available. Call for more details and costs.

The beauty of Upper Marvine Lake is one to take your breath away. It is hard to take your eyes off the scenery to set your tackle. However, even if not an avid fisherman, do not let the opportunity pass you by, the lake offers great Brook Trout, Native Cutthroat, and some Browns.

Fly or cast, catch dinner or release, you will not be disappointed. Pine Isle Lake with Cutbows is a little over an hour hike at altitude, or hike down the Creek for excellent Rainbows.

The Upper Marvine Lake Fishing camp is offered as a day ride, 3 day/2 night trip with the option of adding additional days and as a drop camp or hosted full service camp. The camp is very comfortable for up to 8 people; and your group will have exclusive use of the camp during your stay. This is a great camp to introduce families into the outdoor experience.

Our goal is for you and your group to be unable to decide which part of the trip was the best, instead making every day “THE BEST DAY EVER”. Your ride home will be full of plans you want to experience on your next summer ‘s trip! If you would prefer more solitude or scouting opportunities..you and your equipment will be packed in to one of our high country drop camps. These camps are normally used for hunting, but have limited fishing available and a real quiet taste of the Wilderness.

If it can be done in the summer and horseback, we will give it a try!!
